Beyond Traditional Boundaries

The Interior Architecture course engages with the design of interiors and the interactions between users, objects, and environments. Focusing on the future of Interior Architecture in an era of environmental, political, cultural and technological change, this degree takes a research-led approach to inspire students to develop the cutting-edge skills and interdisciplinary knowledge to lead in this dynamic and expanding field. Working with academic and industry experts, students will design interior spaces, set and performance environments, atmospheres, experiences, and integrated community facilities, from the scale of the body to the scale of the urban interior. Critical speculation is combined with a practice-based hands-on approach to enable students to utilise design to advocate and innovate for their future with sustainability at the core.
